NEW RECORDING SCHEDULED |

Wylie & the Wild West have finished recording album #12 in Nashville. The working title is "16 Hands". They recorded 14 new songs at the world renown Cash Cabin Studios with John Carter Cash (Johnny's son) producing. The CD will be released November 2006. The new album will be an even mixture of new originals and unique covers. While in Nashville the band appeared on the Grand Ole Opry May 19 & 20 making it their 50th appearance on the hallowed stage. |

Wylie recently returned from the National Cutting Association- Western National Finals where he finished third place in the Open Class on his trusty mount, Whiskey. Wylie was the highest placing Non-Pro rider. In 2005 Wylie was the champion in the 20K Non-Pro and reserve champion in the Non-Pro at the annual competition for top western area regional riders held in Ogden Utah. Irish Whiskey Sugar (aka Whiskey) is an 8 year old AQHA gelding raised and trained by Wylie and Kimberley at the Cross Three Ranch in Dusty, WA. |
