Cross 3 Quarter Horse Ranch

Howdy Friends -

We hope the fall finds your ponies frisky, your cattle fat, and plenty of hay in the stackyard.

Here's what's happenings in Wylie's world ...

Wylie recently moved back to his beloved Montana!
He settled near his family in Conrad, where he was born and raised. Construction is underway on a new training facility for the Cross Three Quarter Horse operation. He will continue to train cutting horses between writing, performances, and recording. You can bet that Montana and its wide open spaces will inspire some great new songs.

As in the past, Wylie continues to oversee merchandise orders. You're still able to get signed CDs and personal service when ordering through the band's online store:
While you're there, check out Wylie's highly-acclaimed Christmas for Cowboys CD. It's chock-ful of traditional, seasonal music served up with cowboy soul.

The limited edition Hang -n- Rattle! released in conjunction with the 25th annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering has sold out. A deluxe 4-panel digipack version, with 20-page lyrics folder, is now available.

Wylie recently returned from a national tour which included Wylie and Paul Zarzyski's debut of the "Spur Wild!" show at The Kennedy Center and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. The duo was also booked on Tom Russell's legendary Cowboy Train, this time traveling narrow gauge rails in New Mexico and Colorado.

The band joined Wylie for the Richmond Folk Festival, Richmond, Virginia, where the group performed for 200,000 music fans over the course of the weekend. The East is in love with cowboy music!

For fans anxiously awaiting the next Wylie & The Wild West album, it won't be long! Unwired, a live CD, is in production on the Western Jubilee Recording Company label. It will be available in mid-November. We will send out an email announcement as soon as we receive it. You'll be able to purchase it from our online store.

A concert at The Warehouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was recorded this summer, capturing an exceptional night of music. Unwired highlights the acoustic portion of the band's live performance, but there are also a few "jump-and-kick" tracks to satisfy rock -n- roll cowboys. One fan who heard a working version says, "Wylie's voice has never sounded better!"
